Luknow Street Havelock (Looking North)

A view of the top end of Lucknow Street. On the left hand side, the gabled roof building - The Post Office (opened 1st October 1863), the next building is the Town Hall (built 1907), then the memorial fountain in memory of the Captain and Crew of the ill-fated vessel Ronga and was dedicated for public use at the same time the Town Hall was opened and next to this in partial view the Commercial Hotel - notice the beer kegs outside.
