This Memorial was dedicated to the men of Havelock who were killed during service in World War One 1914-1918.

It reads "LEST WE FORGET 1914 - 1918 TO COMMEMORATE THE MEN OF HAVELOCK WHO FELL IN THE GREAT WAR. The Monument is of highly Polished Black Granite - inscription in Gilt Letters - same number of different names on Reverse side. Editors note; this was written in pencil on the back of the card by the photographer Mr Akersten.
