Havelock (Looking North Over The Township)

Havelock (Looking North Over The Township)

Looking north over the Township. A distinct line in the far hill (right) distinctly shows the bridal track. Miners and early settlers created the track in 1862 to allow easier access from Picton to a gold rush in Wakamarina and it was called a bridle track because they would pull their horses along it by their bridles.
