"Bayview" Havelock

"Bayview" Havelock

Circa 1918. The 2-storied building in view was the first cottage hospital for Havelock. It could be presumed that the second home was the Doctor's residence. The section is covered in fruit trees which also extend to the 2 sections behind the hospital. The boat shed is shown on the opposite side of the road. The wagon in view is loaded with cut timber and would have been coming from the Blackball Saw Mill which was located around the far bend in the road.
