A View Of Havelock From Mount Takorika

A View Of Havelock From Mount Takorika

The township far left with a view of both the Havelock and Brownlee wharves respectively in view at the foot of Cook Street with Cullen's Point diagonally opposite across the harbour. The mouth of the Kaituna River can be seen directly right from the township and an indication of the tidal mudflat is evident. Mount Takorika is an almost vertical climb to the summit and also gives a good view looking up into Mahau Sound
